We’re all passionate about adventure and exploring the world around us. But we need to protect our planetary playground so we can continue to do the things we love.

It’s more than just a selfie. It’s a statement. By flooding social media with amazing underwater photos and videos for one day, together we’re putting a spotlight on our connection to the ocean – showing millions of people around the world just how incredible it really is and why it’s worth protecting. Learn more about the community of PADI Torchbearers coming together to save the ocean, join the movement and rally your crew to do the same.
On Saturday, November 7th, make a statement with a selfie that shows your love for adventure and the underwater world. Get in the water, smile big and win some awesome prizes – all to spread awareness about ocean conservation.
How To Participate
We’re challenging you to dive in and take your best underwater selfie with your GoPro, showing the world you want to save so you – and future generations – can continue to seek adventure well into the future. If you’re unable to dive right now, no worries! Dust off an oldie but goodie from past dive adventures. Post your selfie (photo or video) to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter on November 7th, 2020. Be sure to tag PADI and GoPro with #underwaterselfieday because we’ll be sharing our favorites and giving away US$2,000 and three new GoPro HERO9 cameras. We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
